B.Sc. Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics Full-time

Year: 3
2025/26 Session

It is a mandatory requirement to pass the following module(s in order to achieve an accredited degree:
Either:

  • LH Research Skills in Mathematics (23753),
  • Or LH Current Topics in Theoretical Physics (07813) and LH Scientific Computing Laboratory 2,
  • Or LH Group Studies (01109).
If students do not pass the required module(s), but have achieved enough credits to graduate, they will receive the unaccredited version of the degree.

The following must be taken:

Module Title Code Credits Semester
LH Complex Variable Theory 06 06205 10 Semester 1
LH Quantum Mechanics 3 03 00498 10 Semester 1
LH Statistical Physics 03 01129 10 Semester 1

Students must take either 03 07813 Current Topics in Theoretical Physics and 03 30966 LH Scientific Computing Laboratory 2, or 06 23753 Research Skills in Mathematics.

Module Title Code Credits Semester
LH Current Topics in Theoretical Physics 03 07813 10 Semester 2
LH Research Skills in Mathematics 06 23753 20 Semester 2
